Daily Passage – Romans 9

Today’s passage is Romans
9
.

The verse that stood out in my mind is:

“On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will
not say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this,” will it? Or does not the potter
have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use
and another for common use? What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath
and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared
for destruction?” Romans 9:20-22

Why is it as humans we answer back to our creator with evil things. We ask our creator
why he made our life like this or like that. Does He not have the right as creator
to make our lives however he chooses? Does He not have the freedom to direct our paths?
This is an area I struggle with each day when I want to complain about things in my
life. I need to pray more about this in my life.
