May the Lord bring you into an ever deeper understanding of the love of God and the
endurance that comes from Christ.
In verses 1-2 Paul is asking for prayer form the Thessalonians. I often times think
that prayer is for those prayer warriors who are super spiritual and that it doesn’t
work for me. I never have wonderful stories of how God answered this or that prayer.
I feel like maybe I don’t have good prayers or maybe they are selfish prayers. I never
see awesome things happen when I pray for people.
But that is not the point of prayer. To see these miracles or experience these things.
It is to keep us connected to God and He will answer prayer in His time and His will.
